Removing Skunk Smell from a Dog

Mix well

• 1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide
• ¼ cup baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)
• 1 teaspoon liquid soap

Lather up the dog, work well into the fur, leave the mixture on for three to four minutes, then rinse with warm tap water.
To remove skunk odors completely, the procedure may need to be repeated a few times.
This quantity is for a house-cat-sized animal.

Don't get any of the mixture in the eyes!
The mixture may bleach the hair color.
